Late actress Sridevi’s film ‘English Vinglish’ is considered as one of the best films of her career. He won the hearts of the audience with his performance in this film. In English Vinglish directed by Gauri Shinde, Sridevi played the role of Shashi Godbole, who despite being from a successful small business family does not know English. Due to which not only her children, husband and family but also she has to face inferiority complex. Shashi joins an English speaking course after her husband and daughter make fun of her for not speaking English in order to regain her self-esteem.

English Vinglish recently completed 10 years of release. The film was highly appreciated by fans and critics alike. Meanwhile, Gauri Shinde has expressed her desire to work with her daughter Jhanvi Kapoor after Sridevi. In a recent interview, Gauri Shinde expressed her desire to work with Janhvi Kapoor.

In an interview with entertainment portal Pinkvilla, Pyare Zindagi director Gauri Shinde said- “We talk about films because we know each other. She is like a little girl to me. We are very close, we discuss films and of course I want to work with him. We also meet as friends. So yes, I would really love to work with Janhvi.”

Talking about her differences with direction, Gauri said, “I want to do films that excite me. I want to make films, which are new not only for the audience but also for me. I just want to make honest films. And then I expect the spectators to stand outside the ticket window. I need a strong reason to start a film. I want to make a film now because a lot of time has passed. It will start soon.
