A new combat uniform for Indian Air Force personnel has also been launched on this special occasion of Indian Air Force Day. Air Chief VR Chaudhary said that on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Air Force, we are introducing a new pattern of combat uniform for the personnel. This means that now the brave fighters of the Indian Air Force will be seen in a new combat uniform.

It is said to be not only a light, but also a decoy to the eyes of enemies from snow, mountains to deserts. Not only this, but it is comfortable and suitable for all seasons. Launched for Air Force personnel, this uniform is completely manufactured in India.

Actually this digital pattern uniform is designed keeping in mind the operation area of ​​Indian Air Force. This uniform is designed keeping in mind operations in desert, dense forests and high altitude areas. The new uniform is easier to wear, lighter than the previous uniform. Not only this, but this new uniform will be very convenient in any combat operation.

Significantly, a ceremonial parade was organized at the Air Force Station in Chandigarh on Saturday morning to mark the 90th anniversary of the Indian Air Force. Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary inspected the parade, after which the march past took place. In the programme, Chaudhary said that the Central Government has approved the establishment of a Weapon Systems Wing for officers in the Indian Air Force. He said that for the first time after independence, a new operational wing is being created in the Air Force.

The Air Chief Marshal claimed that the establishment of this branch would save the government more than Rs 3,400 crore by reducing the cost of flight training. Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Air Command, Air Marshal Srikumar Prabhakaran and several senior Air Force officers were present on the occasion.

When the Air Chief arrived at the venue, three Mi-17V5 helicopters led by Wing Commander Vishal Jain displayed the Indian flag while doing a flypast. About 80 military aircraft and helicopters will participate in the Air Force Day flypast at the Sukhna Lake Complex. This is the first time that the Indian Air Force is organizing its annual Air Force Day Parade and Flypast outside Delhi-NCR (National Capital Territory).
