Islamabad. Former Director General of Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Bashir Memon has confirmed the hacker’s claim that he was locked in the toilet at the behest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. The news about this came in the media on Wednesday. Importantly, a hacker had shared the entire episode of Memon and Khan’s meeting in a series of tweets. However, these tweets have now been removed.

According to Geo TV, Memon confirmed the hacker’s claims, saying that he had spoken to Khan sternly for using foul language against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz. According to the news, then Imran Khan’s principal secretary Azam Khan held Memon’s hand and locked him in the toilet. “Azam Khan even rebuked me for my behavior,” said Memon. The whole matter came to social media last week.

He has also called Prime Minister Imran Khan a liar.
After the audio leak, Imran Khan is facing attacks from all sides. Earlier, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif accused Imran Khan of destroying the country’s economy and called him the biggest liar on earth. Shahbaz Sharif had said that Imran has poisoned the society to dangerously polarize the voters after being ousted from power in April. In an interview with Pakistan’s ‘The Guardian’ newspaper, Sharif spoke about the losses the country suffered on the domestic and foreign fronts during Khan’s rule from 2018 to April this year.
