More than $16.8 billion in security assistance
The Biden administration has provided more than $16.8 billion in security assistance to Ukraine since the February 24 Russian invasion. On Tuesday, Biden pledged a new $625 million package for the Kyiv government, including mobile rocket launchers recently used by the Ukrainian military against Russia. With the help of these rocket launchers, Ukraine was able to push back Russia in the battlefield.

At the same time, Russia’s ambassador to the United States expressed indignation at the new supplies given to Ukraine, saying that Washington’s decision to send more military aid to Ukraine would be considered a direct attack on Russia’s national interests.
