The entire area including Beed district has been receiving heavy rains for the last 2 to 3 days. Due to this rain, a large amount of agricultural crops have been damaged in the district. Along with this rain, there have also been incidents of death due to lightning. After the death of a 14-year-old girl from Satwadi in Vadwani taluka yesterday, a woman farmer from Mohingirwadi in the hilly region died today. Moharbai Rajendra Jadhav, a 45-year-old woman farmer from Mohingirwadi near Borfadi in Beed taluka, died today after being struck by lightning.

In Kapildhar, where the Manmath Swami temple is located, the river has also flooded, leaving several cars stuck in water and cutting off communication between Kapildhar and Beed city. Many pilgrims who went for darshan and tourism in Kapildhar are stranded due to floods in the river.

It has been raining heavily in the entire state for the last few days. Kolhapur, Mumbai, PuneNashik and Aurangabad districts have received heavy rains at many places in the state.
