The creators of Abu Dhabi’s Zia Nurai Island are turning their attention to Dubai’s new beaches. We’re already mentally checking in to Zoha Island, a stunning new private island resort currently under construction at World Islands.
A residential villa
According to Zoha Island website, the private island will be home to a collection of only 30 1, 2 and 3 bedroom residential villas, each on its own generous plot of land with a dedicated beach and utmost privacy. But if you don’t have a spare million or 60, you’ll be thrilled to hear that Zoha Island will be home to a boutique retreat with residences.
So even if you’re not in the market for a mega-mansion on the beach, you’ll be able to check in to a beautiful, tropical stay just 15 minutes from Dubai’s mainland.
The website advertises that Zoha is ready for handover in the last quarter of 2024, when we expect the resort to also welcome guests. Zoha Resort will feature 70 beachfront resort villas, and the first renderings suggest that, like the brand’s original Abu Dhabi resort, many of the villas will come complete with their own private pools.

With a strong focus on wellness at this exquisite boutique retreat, guests will enjoy treatments at a relaxing spa and healing center, and access to a central swimming pool.
To keep the stomach satisfied, an all-day dining restaurant, a ceviche bar and a chic beach club are all part of the Zoha Island project.

The aesthetic is light and curvaceous, with interiors designed to celebrate and accentuate the island’s shape. A neutral palette and natural materials are all about ensuring a smooth flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.
