Attack on Nitish Kumar, said- CM is changing sides again and again.
Seetab Dayara (Bihar). Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday took a jibe at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for repeatedly switching alliance partners, saying a five-time side-switcher has become the chief minister. Addressing a function organized to mark Lok Naik Jayaprakash Narayan’s 120th birth anniversary in Seetab Diara village of Saran district, JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar launched a scathing attack on him, citing repeated changes. What did And said that the chief minister who changed sides five times has remained.
In his nearly 15-minute address, Shah explained the various welfare schemes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government and claimed that it is the BJP that is working according to JP’s philosophy. This is the second visit of BJP chief strategist Shah to Bihar within three weeks. On his last visit to Bihar on September 23-24, Shah had asked party workers in Purnia and Kishanganj districts not to give up on the issue of losing power due to Kumar’s sudden exit from the NDA.
These people sat on the lap of the emergency operator.
According to BJP sources, Shah meanwhile told party workers that he would visit Bihar often to keep their morale high. He started his speech with the slogan ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. After Kumar broke ties with the BJP, a grand coalition of seven parties, including the JD(U), RJD, Congress, three Left parties and former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Bharatiya Janama Morcha, now the state is ruling. Referring to the Congress in the grand alliance, Shah targeted Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad, alleging that they were sitting in the lap of the emergency usher. Notably, both Lalu and Nitish were involved in the entire revolutionary movement of 1974 that was started by JP.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the event.
He also discussed the active support JP received from the previous incarnation of the BJP, the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, and the contribution of stalwarts like Atal Bihari Vajpayee and LK Advani in the fight against the Emergency. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also slammed the Samajwadi Party (opposition party in Uttar Pradesh) and RJD among others. Adityanath alleged that JP was against criminalizing politics but “we have seen in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh that people who are benefiting from his legacy are making friends with criminals.”
