Excited at prospect of rejoining national team for T20 World Cup: Shaheen Afridi
It has been revealed that the Pakistan team management will assess Shaheen Afridi’s fitness in the Man in Green’s two warm-up matches against England and Afghanistan ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022.
,I am very excited at the prospect of joining the national team again for the T20 World Cup and playing my part in the campaign. Being away from the game and the team has been a tough time for me.

I have been bowling trouble-free six to eight overs with full run-up and pace for the last 10 days. Although I have enjoyed bowling and batting in the nets, nothing can replace the atmosphere of a match and I can’t wait to be in that setting. It has been a tough and challenging rehabilitation program, but I have thoroughly enjoyed it. To be honest I’m feeling fitter than ever and can’t wait to get into playing kit. Regarding Shaheen, the PCB website said.
Pakistan will play India in their first T20 World Cup at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on October 23.
