New Delhi. South Africa’s tour of India ended in disappointment. Team India also won the ODI series after the T20 by performing brilliantly. India won the one-sided victory by 7 wickets in the deciding ODI of the three-match series. South African team could score only 99 runs in front of the deadly bowling of Team India. In reply, India achieved the target for the loss of 3 wickets in 19.1 overs and claimed the trophy.

During the match played at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium, something happened which is not normally expected in an international match. Even after strict security, if any animal reaches the field, it will be considered the fault of the security personnel. During the third match of the series played at Kotla, a dog entered the ground. The ground staff escorted him out of the ground but he caused quite a stir before leaving.

Shreyas Iyer chased the dog away

When the dog entered the field, Shreyas Iyer was seen chasing it away. In a picture taken during the match, Iyer is seen signaling the dog to go out. By the way, the dog also disturbed the cameraman a lot. In the picture, it can be seen how the dog stood up to the cameraman sitting near the boundary and then started harassing them.

A snake had entered during the match.

When the dog entered the field in the third match of the ODI series, it was also licked by a snake during the same tour of South Africa. In the second match of the three-match T20 series, a snake was seen crawling on the field. Due to which the match had to be stopped for about 10 minutes.

India clinched the series

Kuldeep Yadav changed the direction of the match by taking 4 wickets for 18 runs in 4.1 overs against South Africa. Shibman Gill scored 49 runs and Shreyas Iyer scored 28 runs against the visiting team who were bundled out for just 99 runs. South Africa won the first match and took a 1-0 lead in the series, but after winning two consecutive matches, Team India captured the trophy.
