The woman featured in it is Dhuli Meena, who lives in Malta, Europe with her husband, Indian Foreign Service officer Lokesh Meena.

Lokesh Meena, posted at the Indian embassy in Europe, stays away from the limelight but his wife is steeped in Indian culture and Rajasthani tradition. She posts videos related to Rajasthani culture on Instagram, which is now popular across the country. Although this famous lady’s name is Nirma Meena, she is known as Dhuli Meena at home and she has also created an ID on Instagram as Dhuli Meena.

Dhuli, who is considered the viral ‘cocky on beach’, has so far made 203 posts and has 11,600 followers. Dhuli Meena didn’t know English before so living abroad and buying something from the market was a big problem for her. But, gradually Dhuli Meena became fluent in English and now she goes shopping in the market easily. In London’s vegetable market, he buys vegetables in the Rajasthani style wearing yellow pulp.

On the one hand, while the girls are present on the beach in skimpy clothes, Dhuli Meena is in traditional dress, Dhuli becomes the center of attention. “You are very beautiful” is the only word that comes out of the mouth of foreign women. Not only this, foreign women also take selfies with Dhuli. Dhuli Meena lives in Europe across seven seas, but even today Indian and Rajasthani festivals are celebrated with traditional customs. Dal Bati, the staple food of Rajasthan, is also produced in Europe.

Dhuli Meena’s video on the beach in Malta went viral and got over 100 million views. Dhuli Meena has now befriended the women of Europe as well. Niksha, a Maldivian woman who currently works in a company, is also Dhuli’s friend, she also wears a Rajasthani Logari inspired by Dhuli Meena.

Talking about Dhuli Meena, who became famous abroad, she hails from Nimali village in Rajasthan’s Dosa district. She was married to Indian Foreign Service Officer Lokesh Meena in 2006. After marriage, Dhuli Meena’s life changed and she left the village and went abroad for the first time in 2010 when her husband was posted at the Indian High Commission in Zambia, Africa. Dhuli Meena lived here with her husband till 2014. IFS Lokesh Meena was then transferred to the Indian Embassy in Washington DC, USA, after which both the spouses lived in Washington, USA from 2014 to 2019. Subsequently, in July 2021, he was transferred to the Indian High Commission in Malta, Europe and has been in Malta ever since.
