Chamoli. All the roads connecting Char Dham Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri in Uttarakhand are being double lined. So that millions of visitors do not have any problem. Under this, bypass roads have also been constructed in many districts so that people can get relief from the jam. In this regard, a bypass road is being constructed from Hailing to Marwari, about 20 km before Joshi Math town in Chamoli district, the work of which has been started.
According to reports, the road will be widened to 12 meters so that vehicles can pass through the two-way lane simultaneously. The proposed 300 meter long bridge is to be constructed under the bypass road between Heilong and Marwari just below Joshimuthanagar. The purpose of constructing this bridge is to prevent landslides. Along with this, care is being taken to prevent rapid erosion under Joshi Muthanagar.
It is being told that this bridge will be built with foreign technology. It is being sketched out. It is being told that it will cost Rs 66 crore. This bridge will be the largest and longest bridge in Uttarakhand. The construction of this bridge will also reduce the construction time of the bypass road.
Joshi Mutt District Magistrate Kumkum Joshi said that the BRO is monitoring the work and the road is expected to be completed soon. Tell that about 889 km in Uttarakhand. This long-term Chardham project aims to improve connectivity to Chardham pilgrimage centers (Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri) in the Himalayas, making travel to these centers safer, faster and more convenient.
