Arrangements for late night vigils for victims
The Chief Minister personally met the families of the victims.
Lucknow. The incident that took place on the night of October 1 in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur district shook Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. As soon as the accident was reported, CM Yogi himself took command and started taking the officers on the line. They continued monitoring the relief operations till late night. Canceling his scheduled programs, CM Yogi arrived in Kanpur amidst the casualties. He became a protector here and knew the sufferings of the oppressed.
After the accident, CM Yogi Adityanath announced Rs 2 lakh to the kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured. The matter did not end there, the Chief Minister monitored the entire incident till late night and took information from the officials at every moment. CM Yogi hastily directed two senior ministers of the state government to go to the spot with immediate effect and on the other hand arranged for proper treatment of the injured in the hospital.
Pandemonium all around
The whole night passed in this commotion but no one could sleep in Kortha village. Someone was reaching home with the dead body of a close friend, and women were crying at the door of someone’s house. The men were unable to hold back their tears. No one can understand that the dark night has taken away the light from their lives. The tears of the people of the village were not stopping.

Meanwhile, he suddenly came to know that the Chief Minister of the state, Yogi Adityanath himself had canceled his program and was coming to the village to share the suffering of the people. What was more, the people of the nearby villages also started arriving at Kurtha village to meet and meet CM Yugi. At around 1 pm Chief Minister Yogi along with his officers first reached Hilat Hospital and there he interacted with the families of the injured. For about 20 minutes, he shared the pain of a son, a father and a guardian.

Not only that, CM Yogi himself also reached that Kurtha village, where only cries and screams were heard. He had already halted his convoy and personally met around 10 families on foot. He personally spoke to each family member and discovered the entire incident. The Chief Minister was talking to the family members, but the sadness on his face and moisture in his eyes said that these are not only the people of the village, but his own.
