CM Yogi performed Kanya Poojan at 8 am on Tuesday after worshiping Goddess Siddhidatri, the ninth form of Maa Durga. According to tradition, they worshiped the feet of unmarried girls as Maa Durga, applying tilak of roli, sandalwood, curd, akashta on their foreheads. After feeding the girls with devotion, he blessed them with dakshina and gifts. According to tradition, Batuk Puja was also performed.
