The Shinde camp is contesting Udhu’s claims.

Showing Balasaheb’s message of keeping the saffron flag aloft in the video, the Shinde camp has said that they are the true heirs of Thackeray and Anand Dege’s Hindutva ideology. The Shinde camp claims that “ideas are important and we are carrying forward Balasaheb Thackeray’s ideology”. We are promoting his character, so we are getting support from the people. The first rally was held in Shivaji Park in 1966.

Apart from this, the Shinde camp has also uploaded old clips of the two leaders, Balasaheb and Uddhav Thackeray, in which both the leaders have criticized the Congress. It eventually became his ally in the then Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government. The MVA government lasted only two and a half years before Shinde’s coup in June this year. After this, a new government was formed in Maharashtra under the leadership of Eknath Shinde. In fact, the importance of the Dussehra rally is because the party held its first rally in 1966 at Shivaji Park. Since then this rally is held every year. First Bala Sahib and then Uddhav Thackeray have taken out a rally at this place. It is an annual event for Shivsinks and this time again a huge gathering is expected for the much awaited Dussehra event.
