Jaipur Pink Panthers beat Patna Pirates 35-30 in Pro Kabaddi League
Deshwal of Pink Panthers scored 17 points, Rohit Galia was the best player for Patna with 11 points.

Bangalore. Arjun Deshwal’s brilliant performance helped Jaipur Pink Panthers register a 35-30 win over Patna Pirates in the Pro Kabaddi League here on Sunday. Deshwal scored 17 points while Rohit Galia emerged as Patna’s best player with 11 points. Patna led 6-3 at the start of the match but Jaipur fought back to take an 18-14 lead at the break.

Patna went all out in the second half to increase the team’s lead to 27-17. Although Patna tried to make a comeback, the team could only narrow the margin of defeat. After the end of the first half of the match, Jaipur led 18-14 against Patna. Earlier, Patna started well and took a 3-0 lead. V Ajith Kumar opened the Jaipur team’s account, but Rahul Chaudhary once again could not stand up to the Patna defence. He was out on a do-or-die raid.

India head coach Thomas Dennerby said that the team is ready for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
