Jaipur. Senior Congress MLA from Rajasthan Pandit Bhanur Lal Sharma passed away today. Sharma was the MLA from Sardarshahr Assembly Constituency of Churu District. He was admitted to SMS Hospital in Jaipur on Saturday. He breathed his last there at 7.35 am on Sunday morning. He became MLA for the seventh time in the year 2018. Sharma’s death triggered a wave of mourning in Churu district, including the Congress. MLA Sharma also used to interfere a lot in the politics of the Brahmin society. Sharma was an experienced leader of Rajasthan politics.

Born on April 17, 1945 in Jitesar village of Sardarshahr, Bhanwar Lal Sharma first became an MLA in 1985. Sharma was also a cabinet minister in the Rajasthan government in 1990. Earlier, he was also the Deputy Chief Whip in the Legislative Assembly. MLA Sharma was admitted to Sawai Mansingh Hospital in the capital Jaipur on Saturday morning after his condition worsened. He was admitted to the ICU at SMS Hospital. He remained under the supervision of doctors throughout the day. He said goodbye to the world on Sunday morning.
