Mumbai. The Indian stock market opened with a downtrend on Friday. Meanwhile, the Sensex opened down 129.54 points at 58,092, while the Nifty closed down 44.6 points at 17,287. Investor sentiment remained negative due to global pressure and the selling phase started as soon as the market opened. However, there was no change in the trend of institutional investors.

By 9:30 am, the Sensex lost 275.39 points, while the Nifty was also trading down 0.44 percent. Experts believe that the global signal is a bit weak. However, there was no change in the trend of institutional investors. First resistance for Nifty is at 17376-17423 and second major resistance is at 17471-17509. Nifty’s first base is at 17254-17212 and second major base is at 17163-17110. Purchases may be made in the fall until the first foundation is maintained.

The World Bank has cut its economic growth forecast

This is one percent lower than its previous estimate of June 2022. The World Bank has cited the deteriorating international environment as slowing India’s economic growth.

The S&P fell 1.02 percent, while the NASDAQ shed 0.68 percent. On the other hand, the same was true of the European market.
