Mumbai. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was threatened to be killed in a suicide bomb attack. Now there is a big revelation in this case. Angry with the hotel owner, a drunken man called Maharashtra Chief Minister Shinde and threatened his life. The police have now taken the man into custody. Investigation revealed that the man was allegedly drunk. He called the police control room on Saturday to ‘teach a lesson’ to the hotel owner for overcharging for a bottle of water.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also given a statement in this matter. Devendra Fadnavis has said that the Chief Minister was threatened over the phone yesterday. The intimidator has been caught. But the Chief Minister’s security is more important and our focus is on that.

A police investigation has revealed that a man named Avinash Waghmare was drunk and called the hotel owner on Saturday to “teach him a lesson” for charging a high price for a bottle of water. A case has been registered against Waghmare under Section 177 (willfully giving false information to a public servant) of the IPC.

Accused Avinash Waghmare, who was traveling to Sangli in a private bus from Mumbai’s Ghat Kopar, allegedly called the police control room on Saturday and claimed that a plan was being prepared to kill the Chief Minister at the Lonavala Hotel. According to information, a day ago the State Intelligence Department (SID) received a tip-off about a threat to CM Shinde’s life.

Meanwhile, additional security has been provided to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister has Z Plus category security. According to the police, security has also been increased at Shinde’s private residence in the police station and Varsha’s official residence in Mumbai. Shinde is scheduled to address the Dussehra rally for the first time on October 5 at the MMRDA ground in Mumbai.
