The micro-size Comet was introduced as the most affordable car in the country, but after the launch, the price started at Rs 7.98 lakh ex-showroom. Now it is important to understand the calculation of how COMAT will be cheaper for you. In fact, the company claims about the Comat that it can run up to 230 km on a full charge. The cost of charging it is estimated at Rs 500 per 1000 km. If you drive even 1000 km in a month, it will give you a mileage of 50 paisa per km. It is not possible to drive a car for such a low price.
Battery and charging
In the Comat, the company has provided a 17.3 kWh battery pack. On a full charge of this pack, it is 230 km. The car is rear wheel drive and has an axle mounted motor. This motor produces 42 PS of power. A 3.3kW charger takes 7 hours to fully charge the car and 5 hours to 80% charge.
Great features
The features in Comat are also very good. The car has a 10.25-inch screen setup. It comes with steering mounted controls, connected car tech, dual airbags, stability control, rear parking camera and sensors.
How much is the price?
The company has launched the Comat in three variants. Its base variant is the Pace, priced at Rs 7.98 lakh, ex-showroom. Also, the middle variant Play has been priced at Rs 9.28 lakh and the top-line variant Plush has been priced at Rs 9.98 lakh.
